Il Frantoio - Agriturismo Casa Asplanato

Il Frantoio is one of the six apartments at our agriturismo with pool in Lecchiore, above Dolcedo, in the hills behind Imperia. It is the largest in the house and sleeps up to six: the right choice for large families or for two families holidaying together.

The apartment has two entrances. The main one opens straight onto the garden and leads into the kitchen, fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, four burners, toaster, kettle and coffee machine, with a large table for eating all together. The second entrance, on the opposite side, is handy for unloading suitcases or shopping when you arrive by car. A few steps lead down to the recently renovated bathroom, with shower and WC. Two more steps and you reach the living room, next to which is a spacious double bedroom looking out over the pool and the garden.

An internal staircase goes up to the mezzanine, where there are two single beds. Beside it, behind a door, the finest room in the house: in the attic, very bright, with a double bed and access to a balcony with a breathtaking view — the pool below, the mountains all around, green as far as the eye can see. It is where you end up having breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening.

The pool is the shared space of the agriturismo, used by all six apartments: new, very large, with automatic filtration. Around it a well-kept garden full of greenery and flowers, with sun loungers for reading in the sun, tables in the shade, a barbecue and plenty of room for children to run about. It is big enough never to feel crowded.

You are the guests of a real working farm: 3,000 Taggiasca olive trees around you and our mill a few steps away, where you can taste the oil we produce and see how it is made. To welcome you, a glass of wine and seasonal fruit from our vegetable garden.

Here you choose every day: the pool or the sea 11 km away, the natural pools of the Prino valley a kilometre on foot, the paths through the olive groves, the roads for cycling. Dolcedo with its medieval bridges a few minutes away, Imperia and Sanremo half an hour.

We are here, in the farm shop just a few steps away: for advice, information or a helping hand, you will always find us.
